At 84-years-old, comedian Jerry Lewis is still going strong. Over Labor Day weekend, the 45th annual Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon raised nearly $59 million in contributions and pledges.
Lewis gracefully hosted the 21-hour event in Las Vegas, broadcasting to more than 40 million viewers across the country. Dozens of performers joined Lewis onstage including musicians Barry Manilow, Michael Feinstein and Maureen McGovern. Comedians Carrot Top and Norm Crosby also made appearances.
